Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,981 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The position is for an immediate opening, 13 weeks duration, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour rotating shifts. The right candidate must have 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for Physician to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
