About the role
As an X-Ray Tech, you will play a vital role in imaging patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. This position requires you to operate X-ray equipment, ensure patient comfort, and adhere to safety protocols. You will work in a collaborative environment, floating between various departments as needed, and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.
- Guaranteed hours of 60 every two weeks
- Opportunity to float between departments
- Located in scenic Anchorage, AK
- 3x12 day shift schedule
Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams across various departments
Requirements
- Copy of certifications
- 2 professional references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years
- Specific charting experience with Epic
- Valid state license (allowed to submit with a pending license; processing takes 10-12 weeks)
