Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves performing radiologic procedures on patients within the imaging department. The ideal candidate must be skilled in various diagnostic radiology techniques, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all types of diagnostic imaging including portable, trauma, and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Provide imaging services for surgical procedures and in the emergency department.
• Assist in patient preparation and ensure the proper operation of radiologic equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Required Certification: ARRT (R).
• Proficient in all areas of diagnostic radiology, including portable and operating room imaging.
• Fluoroscopic procedure experience is preferred.

Schedule

• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Unit Information

• Unit: Imaging Diagnostics
• Floor: 2nd Floor
• Normal Staffing: 34 FTE in a 24-hour period
• Day Shift: 16 Technologists and 1 Supervisor
• Evening Shift: 10 Technologists, 2 Student Technologists, and 1 Supervisor
• Night Shift: 4 Technologists and 1 Supervisor

Work Environment

• This role requires flexibility and may involve weekend rotations.
• The dress code is professional scrubs, specifically black in color.
