About the Role
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate results.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain and sterilize the procedure room and imaging equipment.
- Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred).
- Additional certifications and licenses may be required.
Skills
- Critical Thinking & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, proficiency in PC skills, and technical/motor skills for operating equipment.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to remain stationary, move about, lift/move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate professionalism.
- Mental Requirements: Ability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work with occasional supervision, and handle irregular schedules while maintaining attention to detail.
- Sensory Requirements: Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.

- Duration: 15 weeks.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
