Travel Radiology Technician - $3,108 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week position in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves 40 hours per week, working 10-hour shifts, rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow physicians' orders and assist with cath lab procedures.
• Contribute to cardiac diagnosis within scope of practice.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise related to sterile technique and assist as a scrub person.
• Monitor and record ECG for abnormalities and report emergent or urgent rhythms.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients to ensure their comfort, emotional support, and safety.
• Document procedures thoroughly and accurately using lab-specific documentation systems.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications if applicable.
• CCI National certification - RCES or RCIS.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Competency in arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes, and interventional procedures.

Skills

• Knowledge of radiologic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
