Travel Radiology Technician - $2,745 per week

About the role

Xray Technologist position in a fast-paced, level II trauma center located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images while delivering excellent patient care across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, verify physicians' orders, and ensure patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate imaging equipment
• Verify physicians' orders
• Ensure patient safety during procedures
• Float according to organizational needs, with potential work on major holidays and call shifts
• Demonstrate competency in multiple imaging settings, including intraoperative procedures
• Adhere to departmental policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Nevada Medical Radiography license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with fluoroscopy
• Recent travel experience
• Ability to work with neonatal to geriatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating in a high-volume trauma environment
• Proficiency in OR Suite, Trauma Suite, and portable radiography

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, days
• 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (ending 11/21/2026)
