Travel Radiology Technician - $2,490 per week
Schedule
- Evenings, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred schedule: 5x8 from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM or open to 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Completion of clinical and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements.
- Must possess New Jersey State License.
- Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry and pass such examination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience.
- Experience working independently in emergency room and trauma patient areas.
- Experience with portable x-ray procedures.
Description
The radiologic technologist will produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, selecting proper technical factors, and operating X-ray equipment. Responsibilities include performing portable X-ray examinations, developing films, preparing radiopaque contrast media, and assisting physicians in administering contrast. Administrative duties include scheduling, record-keeping, and patient instruction.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds, push/pull 10 pounds, and stand at least 6 hours daily. The role requires service to diverse patient populations, with effective communication tailored to individual patient needs.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
