Travel Radiology Technician - $2,471 per week

About the role

The Radiology Technician will prepare the EPS Lab and patients for Electrophysiology (EPS) and Pacing procedures. Responsibilities include gathering and compiling information during procedures using computer-generated data and assisting nurses and physicians in a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures within a team environment. The technologist may also monitor and ensure the proper use of radiation when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the use of radiation as required.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid New Jersey Radiology Technologist License and ARRT certification required; ARRT (CV), CVT, or RCIS preferred.
• Experience in EKG interpretation and scrub experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid New Jersey Radiology Technologist License and ARRT certification required; ARRT (CV), CVT, or RCIS preferred.
• Experience in EKG interpretation and scrub experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
