Travel Radiology Technician - $2,422 per week

About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting July 31, 2026 at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations under supervision, using fluoroscopy, x-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and other diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging studies and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret and report imaging results accurately.
• Prepare and process patient films and images for review by radiologists.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) certification with 1 year of experience.
• Experience with heavy OR surgery cases, ER, outpatient, and inpatient x-rays, fluoroscopy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with all relevant hospital policies and procedures.
• Valid BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current CPR certification.
