Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech Travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date 08/02/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay $2,861 to $3,057 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift is 4x10-hour days (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday with a rotating day off. Start date: 08/02/2026. Setting: hospital interventional radiology unit. On-call: as needed. Orientation: included as part of onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Support interventional radiology procedures by scrubbing, assisting the physician, and maintaining sterile technique
- Operate and manage imaging equipment used in IR procedures (Siemens Artis systems), ensuring proper settings and image quality
- Pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure monitoring of patients, including vital signs and recovery observation
- Prepare and transport patients, assist with contrast administration, and position patients for various IR interventions
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation, inventory, and equipment readiness; communicate patient and procedure needs to the team
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies; participate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (must be in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred (large hospital setting; peripheral and neurovascular experience)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR setting; may float to related IR areas as needed
