About the role
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Duration: 12-week contract (13 weeks per assignment details)
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Administer medications utilizing the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safe delivery of medications.
- Perform ongoing point-of-care electronic documentation of each patient's assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide patient and family-centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary discharges of patients to guarantee safe transition and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience, preferably in radiology.
- BLS certification (AHA)
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
Schedule
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour day shifts)
Weekend requirement: Every 8th or 9th weekend and 1 holiday as needed
On-call requirement: Every 8th or 9th weekend on call and call as needed during the week
