Responsibilities
- Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning under physician prescriptions
- Fabricate and adjust specialized treatment aides as required; manage setup for all treatment sites within a comprehensive cancer program
- Implement treatment modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons; collaborate across the treatment team to cover all clinical sites
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span; assess patient data and interpret information to meet age-specific needs
Requirements
- Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as Radiation Therapist; active by start of assignment
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience
- Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR
- Able to treat 25-30 patients per day and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
