About the Role
As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a physician. You will work in a hospital setting and will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and ensure patient comfort during treatment.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Ensure proper positioning of patients for treatment
- Monitor and record patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Colorado
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification in Radiation Therapy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in using medical charting systems such as Meditech
