Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Radiation Therapist in Anderson, SC. This position offers a pay range of $2480.00 to $2650.80 weekly for a 20-week assignment. Shifts are available from 08:00 - 16:30, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician. Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering treatments, and documenting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately and safely
• Administer radiation treatments according to prescribed protocols
• Document patient care and treatment sessions in the electronic health record (Epic)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in South Carolina
• One year of relevant clinical experience
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Epic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Completion of an accredited program
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency with the Epic charting system
