Travel Radiation Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment responsible for administering targeted radiation therapy to treat cancerous tumors. The role involves independent treatment delivery, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately for radiation therapy
• Operate advanced radiation equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during procedures
• Review and follow treatment plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate records
• Monitor patient responses during treatment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform equipment checks and quality assurance

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• At least one year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred certifications: ARRT and other state-required licenses
