Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,710 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a contract position in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Start date: 08/10/2026, duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 7-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients, developed in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and treatment location.
• Help patients understand and manage potential side effects of radiation treatment.
• Safely provide radiotherapy treatment and operate medical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimens.

Requirements

• Most states require licensure.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
