Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,590 per week

LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Ithaca, New York.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
• Document patient information and treatment details accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in New York State.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Skills

• Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
