About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting September 8, 2026, in Bangor, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments under the supervision of a physician
- Prepare and monitor patients for radiation therapy sessions
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Maine
- Experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment operation

Pay
The pay package is based on 9-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
