About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Duluth, Minnesota. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift. The employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physicians to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty
