About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital X-Ray department in Morgantown, West Virginia. The department operates 5 rooms/scanners and performs approximately 400 XR and OR (C-arm) fluoro studies per day. Radiologists and residents are in-house 24/7.

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 3x12hrs (weekends required)
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Fuji Synapse
• Equipment: Toshiba rad rooms, Carestream portables, OEC C-arms
• No IV starts or floating to other departments required
• Department provides specific orientation, scrubs, and radiation badge (provided by staffing agency)

Responsibilities

• Perform XR and OR (C-arm) fluoro studies
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment
• Use Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• WV state license required
• Experience with C-arm and fluoro procedures required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Previous permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• Previous travelers who completed a full year at the facility must take a 2-year break before returning
• First-time travelers may be considered
