About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality X-Ray Tech for a 13-week travel contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Morgantown, West Virginia. This position starts on 09/07/2026 and offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Obtain useful diagnostic details to assist physicians in determining further treatment for patients.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for diagnosing medical conditions such as cancer or fractures.
• Instruct patients on appropriate positions to ensure accurate imaging.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate, and quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
