Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and treatment options.
- Utilize various medical equipment and devices, including gait belts, walkers, and oxygen supplies.
- Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
- Implement safety and injury prevention strategies in home settings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience required.
- OASIS training preferred.
- Current Florida RN license or Compact license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
- COVID-19 vaccination required or an approved exemption on file.
- Flu vaccination or declination required.
