About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hood River, Oregon. This position requires 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
- Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
- Understand and comply with the respective state PT board's rules and regulations.
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
- Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/modify plans of care as indicated by patient condition.
- Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
