Travel Psychology - Weekly Contract

About the role

A licensed psychologist specializing in mental health, responsible for providing professional mental health care to inmates/residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments
• Develop and modify individual treatment plans
• Perform regular rounds to assess inmate adjustment
• Deliver counseling and interventions for inmates in crisis
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure integrated treatment and follow-through
• Gather information on behavioral and mental health changes

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of clinical experience, including one year in a similar role
• Current unrestricted psychology license
• Board eligibility
• US citizenship for clearance

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques
• Ability to perform assessments and interventions
• Compliance with onboarding requirements including BLS, pharmacology, skills checklist, and specialty exam

Additional

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to perform at a performance level consistent with job requirements
