Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse in a facility located in Rochester, NY. This role involves providing advanced nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, with a focus on telemetry and step-down level care. Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs.
• Focus on telemetry and step-down level care, including interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac monitoring, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, manage cardiac drips (no titration), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions.
• Utilize EPIC charting system.
• Float within skill set as needed, possibly including charge nursing duties in community hospital settings.
• Adhere to client call-off policy and submit RTO requests upon submission.
• Available to work every other holiday.

Required Qualifications

• NY Single State Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Telemetry and step-down care experience.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with charge nursing.
• Experience in community hospital settings.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts.
• Minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Start date: 10/13/2026; end date: 01/12/2027.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
