About the role
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse travel assignment in Burlington, Massachusetts. This 8-week night-shift role requires every other weekend availability. Candidates must have Epic electronic health record experience and the ability to titrate pressors. The position includes floating to various units such as emergency department holds, inpatient holds, post-anesthesia care units, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks.
Responsibilities
- Work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma environment
- Float to emergency department holds, inpatient holds, post-anesthesia care units, and other boarding units in 4-hour increments
- Complete day-one testing (practice tests available via Relias)
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Epic experience
- Ability to titrate pressors
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Upcoming or current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred or required if no prior travel experience
- Must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Weekly start date on Mondays
- Minimum 36 hours per week
