Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,000 per week

Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality patient care by following the nursing care plan, supervising ancillary nursing personnel, and ensuring patient safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and personalized patient education to promote optimal health outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team communications.
• Initiates discharge planning and patient education from day one.
• Supervises nursing staff.
• Ensures safety protocols.
• Contributes positively to the unit's team environment.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-study.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to first shift.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.

• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care environment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
