Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,935 per week

About the role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the healthcare facility setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes patient safety, education, and discharge planning, with supervisory responsibilities over ancillary nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Providing patient education
• Participating in patient rehabilitation programs
• Initiating discharge planning from day one
• Ensuring documentation accuracy
• Providing direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel
• Assisting in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• May include charge responsibilities following an orientation period, with a focus on professional development and effective time management

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Education and Experience: Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired; charge experience highly desired.
• Location Requirements: Shift hours are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Position start date is 10/12/2026 and end date is 01/11/2027.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
