A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position is available in Zanesville, Ohio. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment on a night shift, working 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Location: Zanesville, Ohio
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certified BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiac step-down experience, including open-heart surgery, heart cath recovery, and post-op open-heart care
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
• Ability to care for ventilated patients in rare circumstances
• Comfort working with ventilated patients if needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cardiac step-down or progressive care environment

Additional Information

• Available start dates: 08/17/2026 or 09/21/2026
• No on-call required; may be asked to take a rare call day during census fluctuations
• Typically works every third weekend and covers one holiday, subject to change
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
