Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Wichita, Kansas will provide specialized care in a level 1 trauma center setting. The nurse will work on night shifts with a schedule of every other weekend, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One year of experience in a hospital setting
- Location in the state of Kansas or nearby
- Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Progressive Care or Critical Care nursing (if applicable)
- Experience with trauma patients in a hospital setting

- This position involves working every other weekend with no call responsibilities
- The unit is a fast-paced, trauma-level 1 facility requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
