Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,809 per week
Stability Healthcare is seeking a Tele Step-Down RN for a contract position in Chapel Hill, NC. The PCU nurse, also called a step-down nurse, works in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), also known as cardiac stepdown, medical stepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown, and ER holding. PCU nursing operates between the levels of general and ICU care, and increasingly in critical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit setting, bridging general and ICU care.
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
Pay
- Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
- $600 travel bonus.
- Extra hour bonus: earn an additional hourly bonus for working over contracted weekly hours.
