About the role

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a 500‑bed teaching facility that serves as a regional referral center. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. The position is located in Salem, Virginia, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,090.00 – $2,197.00 per week (subject to confirmation and tax‑free stipend).

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Social Security Number (SSN) required
• Date of birth required
• Work history must not have more than a 90‑day gap in the last year

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and care of surgical patients
• Experience with chest tube management and epidural administration
