AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Barberton, Ohio. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 10/18/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Job Description

The role is based in a 34-bed cardiac PCU/Tele stroke overflow unit at Summa Health – Barberton Campus, part of one of Ohio's largest integrated healthcare delivery systems. The campus serves Barberton, Wadsworth, Norton, Green, Akron, and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a progressive care setting
• Manage cardiac and stroke patients
• Start IVs and perform phlebotomy
• Utilize EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• 3 years of PCU experience
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA, BLS-AHA, NIH Stroke Scale
• SSN, DOB, and valid Driver’s License (address must match submission)
• 1 reference within the last 12 months
• EMR listed in each work history entry
• Recent phlebotomy and EPIC experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Local candidates within 40 miles (BR will be $15 less than travel rate)
• Permanent address in AMIE must match Driver’s License

Pay

Pay rate: $1926.00 - $2025.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation)
