This role is essential in ensuring the effective monitoring and treatment of patients recovering from acute illnesses. Unit Information IMCU with 16-10 beds Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 4 Patient Population Sepsis Heart Failure Hypertensive Emergency Respiratory Failure COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Chronic Kidney Disease Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Substance Abuse Encephalopathy Responsibilities Administer medications, including Heparin drips and other IV therapies. Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in patient condition. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Qualifications Must possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
