Travel Pre/Post PACU RN - $2,103 per week

About the role

Travel Nurse RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) for a 13‑week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients undergoing anesthesia recoveries and sedation, supporting various heart and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in pre‑operative, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery settings with a focus on cardiac cases.
• Maintain appropriate nurse‑patient ratios (Pre‑op 1:3, Phase 1 1:2, Phase 2 1:3).
• Administer sedation and manage recovery from anesthesia.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience; cardiac experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.

Schedule

Three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hours total). Available shift start times: 05:00‑17:30, 06:00‑18:30, 07:00‑19:30, 08:00‑20:30. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, start date ASAP.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
