Travel Postpartum RN - $2,103 per week

About the role

A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced Post Partum (PP) RN for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, NRP and WA License. Pending license needed to submit. Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the postpartum unit
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• 2+ years of recent, relevant postpartum nursing experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred
• Knowledge of postpartum care and newborn care
