About the role

Travel Nurse RN – Postpartum assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. Specialty: Post Partum. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. Shift: 12‑hour shifts (days, evenings, nights) for 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for both mother and baby.
• Monitor for post‑birth complications.
• Educate new parents on infant care.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Requirements

• Current South Dakota RN license (compact accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (to be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• Completion of an approved nursing education program.

Qualifications

• Experience in mother‑baby or postpartum care preferred.
• Five or more years of RN experience or a bachelor’s degree in nursing recommended.
• Strong teamwork, independent judgment, and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,047.00 – $2,152.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
