Mother Baby Registered Nurse jobs in Rapid City, SD let you provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a supportive, fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for both mother and baby
• Monitor for post-birth complications
• Educate new parents on infant care
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is expected

Requirements

• Completed an approved nursing education program
• Hold a current South Dakota RN license (Compact accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire
• 1 reference in the last 12 months

Qualifications

• Experience in mother baby or postpartum care is preferred
• 5 or more years of RN experience or a bachelor's degree in nursing is recommended
• Strong teamwork, independent judgment, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting are essential

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, days/evenings/nights

Pay

• Pay Rate: $2044.00 – $2148.00
