Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to mothers and newborns in a supportive hospital environment
- Assess maternal and newborn health
- Implement care plans
- Educate families on postpartum and newborn care
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas or compact registered nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent postpartum or mother-baby nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Social Security Number required
- Date of Birth required
- Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last 1 year
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Experience with Meditech

Pay
- Pay rate: $1423.00 - $1496.00 per week
- Pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
