Hospital in Thornton, Colorado is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Post Partum position.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the post-partum unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and provide immediate care to newborns.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to medical staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (LDRP) or Post Partum.
- BLS certification.
Qualifications
Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.
Skills
Knowledge of post-partum care protocols, ability to handle high-stress situations, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
