Travel Post Partum / Mother Baby RN - $1,724 per week

About the role

The Mother Baby Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality nursing care to families during the critical time of postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions postpartum, including care for patients on Magnesium Sulfate.
• Perform typical procedures such as circumcisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Educate families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Mother Baby experience necessary; travel experience and STABLE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of postpartum care and newborn care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
