About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 8-week assignment starting July 27, 2026 in Florence, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
- Assist physicians during deliveries
- Monitor patient health and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient care and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alabama
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Knowledge of postpartum-nursing techniques
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
