Travel Post Partum/Mom Baby RN - $2,049 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Post Partum RN for a travel nursing assignment in Lenexa, Kansas.
About the role
This 13-week assignment starts on August 24, 2026, with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts. The role focuses on mother-baby, couplet care, and post-partum nursing.
Responsibilities
- Recognize unit workflow, process, policies, and procedures within the postpartum unit.
- Assess and identify risk factors related to sepsis, venous thromboembolism/deep vein thrombosis (VTE/DVT), suicide, malignant hyperthermia, and pressure injury.
- Provide discharge education and assessment, abnormal assessment, pain management, and prioritization of patient care based on acuity and needs.
- Use communication frameworks such as AIDET and BSSR.
- Care for patients in post-partum, LDRP, well baby nursery, and recovery settings, including attending births for babies.
- Perform procedures such as circumcisions.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Certifications: BLS, NRP.

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
