Travel Post Partum/Mom Baby RN - $2,034 per week

About the role

Join the Maternity Care Center in Salem, Virginia, a travel RN assignment that provides Labor & Delivery, C‑sections, postpartum and newborn care. The center includes 9 Labor & Delivery rooms, 8 Post‑Partum/GYN beds, 2 operating rooms, and a well‑baby nursery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Labor & Delivery processes and oversee all aspects of maternity care.
• Perform cesarean sections and provide care during postpartum and newborn care phases.
• Manage OB‑ED triage and conduct inductions.
• Work collaboratively with midwives and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• OB experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
• Experience as a cesarean section circulator, first assist, or scrub tech is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (12‑hour nights), 36 hours per week. Assignment duration: 13 weeks, starting 10/12/2026.
