Travel Polysomnographer - $1,937 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota starting July 27, 2026. The position involves conducting diagnostic sleep studies to evaluate and manage sleep disorders.

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program
• One year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech required
• Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations
• Preferred: Registered Sleep Technologist Certification (CPSGT or RPSGT)

Required Qualifications

• Completed a sleep technology program

Essential Work Functions

• Review patient history and verify orders
• Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
• Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results
• Implement appropriate interventions as necessary
