About the Role
As a Polysomnographic Technologist (Registered Sleep Tech), you will perform sleep studies for patients with suspected sleep disorders. You must be well-versed in polysomnographic testing, able to explain the procedure to patients and walk them through the process step-by-step, and analyze and score the study results.
Responsibilities
- Perform sleep studies for patients with suspected sleep disorders
- Explain polysomnographic testing procedures to patients and guide them through the process
- Analyze and score sleep study results
Requirements
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
- Extensive knowledge of polysomnographic testing
- Ability to clearly explain procedures to patients
- Proficiency in analyzing and scoring sleep study data
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
Pay
Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
