Travel Polysomnographer - $1,590 per week

Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech for a 4-week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The position requires successful completion of a sleep technology program, one year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech, and a valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license.

Essential Work Functions

• Review patient history and verify orders
• Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
• Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results
• Auxiliary in implementing appropriate interventions as necessary
• Auxiliary in scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events
• Follow sleep center policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of a Polysomnographer/Sleep Technician

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program
• One year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech required
• Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations
• Preferred: Registered Sleep Technologist Certification (CPSGT or RPSGT)
