Travel Polysomnographer - $1,533 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a 13-week assignment in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The position starts on July 27, 2026, and works 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program
• One year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech required
• Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations
• Preferred: Registered Sleep Technologist Certification (CPSGT or RPSGT)

Qualifications

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate

Essential Work Functions

• Review patient history and verify orders
• Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
• Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results
• Implement appropriate interventions as necessary
• Auxiliary with scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events
• Follow sleep center policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of a Polysomnographer/Sleep Technician
