Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill children in a facility with a collaborative culture and advanced pediatric care.
• Assess, monitor, and treat pediatric patients.
• Operate life-support equipment.
• Document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Required qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid South Dakota RN or Compact RN license (copy needed).
• At least 1 year of recent pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (copy needed).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (copy needed).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (copy needed).
• SSN required.
• DOB required.
• 1 reference in the last 12 months (for PICU RN with Pediatric experience).
• Permanent address over 250 miles from Rapid City, SD.
• EPIC skills.
• Skills checklist within 12 months.
• Reference dated within 12 months for job worked within 5 years.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous travel preferred.
