Travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care position in Baltimore, Maryland. Start date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN providing specialized care to pediatric patients from newborns to age 21 with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, and post‑surgical care. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a designated Burn, Trauma, and Eye center setting.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized care to pediatric patients from newborns to age 21 with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, and post‑surgical care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a designated Burn, Trauma, and Eye center setting.
• Caring for patients with diverse diagnoses such as multiorgan failure, shock, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices.
• Managing continuous infusions and intermittent medications including narcotics, vasopressors, and diuretics.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• ACLS certification
• No minimum years of experience required; a minimum of 2 years current experience in Pediatric ICU is preferred
• At least 1 travel assignment experience

Qualifications

• Critical Care Certification (preferred)
• Trauma course completion (preferred)
• EPIC experience (preferred)
• Prior employment with Johns Hopkins system must be noted in work history if applicable
• Completion of specialized courses relevant to pediatric critical care (preferred)

Schedule

Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
